The Rush Companies Named PSBJ’s Corporate Philanthropy Community Champion

We’re proud to share that our longtime partners at The Rush Companies have been named the Puget Sound Business Journal’s 2025 Corporate Philanthropy Community Champion!

This honor represents more than their incredible generosity—it’s a celebration of what can happen when a community comes together with purpose. In 2012, Gordon Rush, The Rush Companies Founder, and Dr. Frank Senecal, united a small group of business leaders and community members around a bold vision: to bring groundbreaking cancer clinical trials and research directly to patients in the South Sound. What started as an intimate gathering of 50 community members has grown into Beer & Bites—an annual celebration that now attracts over 600 guests and has raised more than $10 million to date, fueling hope, healing, and improved outcomes for local cancer patients.

A heartfelt congratulations to Gordon and everyone at The Rush Companies for this well-deserved recognition. Your partnership continues to open doors, inspire hope, and drive progress in our quest for a cure.

With gratitude,

South Sound CARE Foundation
