What I enjoy most about the event is the atmosphere of celebration and generosity. It's a chance to connect with others, bid on an amazing collection of auction items, and contribute to a cause that truly makes a difference.
What are you most looking forward to at this year's Beer & Bites?
I'm most looking forward to the sense of community and camaraderie that Beer and Bites always brings. It's amazing to see so many familiar faces from Gig Harbor and Tacoma coming together to support a common cause. And of course, I’m excited for the unique pairings of local craft beers and delicious bites—it’s always a highlight!
Why is Beer & Bites important to the South Sound community?
Beer & Bites is more than just a fun night out; it’s a chance for our community to connect, celebrate, and give back in a meaningful way. The funds raised have a direct impact in improving lives and supporting vital cancer research.
Can you share a memorable moment from a past Beer & Bites?
I was deeply moved by Dr. Senecal’s speech last year. Hearing about the achievements being made and the dedication of researchers to finding a cure really hit home. Dr. Senecal's passion for the cause and the tangible impact of the funds raised are a powerful reminder of why we come together to support these initiatives. Every contribution brings us one step closer to breakthroughs that can save lives.
